Studies from American Academy of Periodontology have shown the following:
Gingivitis may increase the risk of Heart Disease and Stroke.
The risk of Cardiovascular disease may increase as the level of Periodontal
Disease increases.

The first thing you want to do to reverse gum disease is brush at least twice per day Regrow gums at home. In addition to this, floss daily and use a mouthwash that contains fluoride.
